This is a “J” that I shot in Travis County (Austin, Texas.) It was fun to get the State Capital in the background.
More Counties Tomorrow
In January 2011 on January 18, 2011 at 10:58 pmHeading to central Texas tomorrow. It’s a day shoot so no lofty goals regarding the number of photos I will take and counties I will visit. I will post photos and an update this weekend.
Two Days and Ten Counties
In January 2011 on January 1, 2011 at 7:47 pmTwo days, nine counties from area 20 (and a portion of Duval County from area 18), and 967 miles produced 334 images. First and foremost, it was a BLAST! What a life! There is no greater teacher than experience and I learned a lot about shooting the rest of the state. (More on lessons learned in future blogs).
I am posting a couple of images for review and comments. I would love to hear what y’all think.

In addition to shooting letters, I found it impossible to not shoot some of the amazing sights along the way. One of my personal favorites is the Hogg County Court House in Hebbronsville, TX.
Wishing each of you a prosperous 2011.
